Happy Birthday
Mrs. Myrtle Lewis, a very special lady to the Coden congregation, celebrated her 96th birthday in August.
Mrs. Lewis is the widow of Rev. John Inge Lewis, Sr. She and Rev. Lewis were married for 49 years and together they faithfully served the United Methodist Church for 34 of those years.
Mrs. Lewis is the mother of 11 children. One son, John, is deceased. She has 35 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren.
